Baldwin, Fla.

Baldwin is located in scenic Duval County, which is also home to Jacksonville Beach, Atlantic Beach and Neptune Beach. Baldwin was named in honor of Dr. Abel Seymour Baldwin who was the President of the Florida, Atlantic and Gulf Central Railroad. This idyllic small town is located 20 miles outside of the city of Jacksonville. Best known for being the location of a historic Civil War skirmish, it is not uncommon to find a rifle ball that was shot during that time period.
