Established in 1959, Forest Hills Foods has been the hometown grocery store for shoppers in greater Grand Rapids, Mich., ever since. It’s known for its fresh foods, scratch-made deli and bakery departments, quality specialty items and knowledgeable, friendly team members. The store carries organic and local produce, as well as an extensive selection of fresh meat and fish, deli and bakery items, and beer and wine. In 2019, the Ada Fresh Market by Forest Hills Foods opened, providing the local community with on-trend, high-demand grocery favorites in a smaller format store for busy shoppers and nearby businesses.
Started in 1916, Grand Union was one of the first supermarkets in the United States. Today Grand Union stores serve New York and Vermont communities, offering competitive prices on a wide variety of fresh foods and an extensive assortment of brand name groceries, in addition to signature private brands. Each store contains specialized local assortments to meet local shoppers’ needs.
The first Martin’s Super Market opened in 1947 in South Bend, Ind. From that small beginning, Martin’s Super Markets has grown to serve communities throughout northern Indiana and southwest Michigan. Martin’s was built on hard work, determination and innovative ideas, but service is the top priority at every store. Martin’s offers added conveniences such as full-service pharmacies and specialty departments, including Side Door Deli Cafés, which offer a full variety of hot and cold ready-to-eat menu items.
With locations in Madison and Wauwatosa, Wis., Metcalfe’s Market is known for an abundance of local and premium quality foods. Throughout the stores, shoppers can find “Food Miles” signs, indicating how many miles a product has traveled to reach the shelf. Metcalfe’s Market is home to fresh baked breads and pastries from 20 local bakeries, more than 500 varieties of artisan cheeses, and the largest variety of local and organic produce in the area. Founded in 1897, Remke Markets have served as trusted neighborhood grocers in Kentucky and Ohio for generations. Serving Nebraska communities since 2013, Supermercado Nuestra Familia specializes in Latin American foods, including an abundant assortment of fresh fruits and vegetables, dried chiles and spices.
