The remodel modernizes the shopping experience for the Bay View neighborhood — providing the products shoppers want while matching the community’s aesthetic
MILWAUKEE, Wis. — June 8, 2026 — Piggly Wiggly® has completed its second major refresh of 2026 — this time celebrating the grand reopening of its Bay View neighborhood store located at 123 W. Oklahoma Ave. E in Milwaukee. The remodeled store focuses on freshness, convenience and local products, using shopper feedback to modernize the shopping experience and provide the products shoppers want while matching the surrounding community’s vibrant aesthetic.
The updated Piggly Wiggly now features what Bay View shoppers asked for most — including a new store layout with wider aisles and improved lighting for a more comfortable and accessible shopping experience. The refreshed deli department also features convenient grab-and-go options, including fresh salads, sandwiches, chicken and Wisconsin favorites brats and cheese curds.
The store also boasts expanded organic and gluten-free selections and deepens its commitment to local products with a carefully curated assortment of Wisconsin brands and offerings chosen specifically for the Bay View neighborhood.

Piggly Wiggly celebrated its grand reopening with a full-day celebration on Saturday, June 6, featuring a ribbon-cutting ceremony, live music, giveaways, product sampling and family-friendly fun for all.
