Updated departments, new culinary options and a landmark community fundraising tradition mark an exciting new chapter in Granger
GRANGER, Ind. — June 23, 2026 — The Martin’s™ Super Markets location at Heritage Square has completed a series of store enhancements designed to create an even more welcoming gathering place for shoppers and families, coinciding with the successful kickoff of the 30th annual Roofsit. The event brought neighbors together to celebrate the store’s new look and feel, while starting a powerful week designed to raise vital funds and awareness for child abuse prevention across Michiana.
Updates to the Heritage Square Martin’s — located at 7355 Heritage Square Dr. in Granger, Ind. — include a brand-new Martin’s Side Door Cantina featuring a customizable burrito and bowl bar, alongside additional grab-and-go selections, hot soup offerings and a completely refreshed deli layout. The store also features a redesigned full-service floral department, where on-site floral experts create custom bouquets to order, as well as a larger meat department offering choice beef, prime beef, dry-aged cuts and an enhanced meat and seafood selection at the service counter.
An elevated produce department welcomes shoppers into the store, focusing on fresh with more in-store fresh fruit and vegetable pre-cut selections, organics and a wider assortment of locally sourced products. Meanwhile, a full bakery department reflow brings fresh-baked bread alongside the store’s classic donut program. A new local program takes center stage to improve shopability, featuring integrated specialty foods; expanded beer, wine and liquor; and the addition of a nostalgic candy and soda section.
The grand reopening marked the start of a weeklong community celebration in partnership with U93, featuring a ribbon-cutting ceremony and a $2,500 check presentation to Prevent Child Abuse St. Joseph County, honoring the store’s continued investment in the Granger community. Other Roofsit events taking place at Martin’s throughout the week include Kids’ Day on June 24 and the Donut Drive-Thru on June 26. Over the past 30 years, Roofsit has raised more than $3.8 million for local child abuse programs.
