Prices reduced on the groceries shoppers want most leading into summer grilling season
GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — June 9, 2026 — VG’s® Grocery is lowering prices on thousands of grocery items throughout the store — offering additional value to shoppers on the products that matter most leading into the summer grilling season.
The ‘New Lower Prices’ — most of which are 6% to 15% lower than the original price — are designed to enhance the shopper experience at all VG’s locations in eastern Michigan.
VG’s price reductions started in May and continue throughout the summer on select items, including:
- Backyard grilling and picnic essentials like Our Family® potato chips, Sweet Baby Ray’s® BBQ sauce, Nathan’s Famous Since 1916® all-beef franks and Kingsford® charcoal briquets.
- Condiments including ketchup, yellow mustard and pickle mainstays, as well as ways to spice up your toppings with Our Family sweet & spicy mustard and Vlasic® Frank’s RedHot® pickle spears.
- Pantry staples such as Glad® tall kitchen bags, Dawn® dish detergent and Ziploc® storage bags.
The ‘New Lower Prices’ also come as VG’s launches its signature Brat Shop — featuring a curated selection of freshly made bratwurst for store guests to relish all summer long.
