Nicknamed the beautiful city, Orlando is the 79th largest city in the United States. The city symbol is the fountain of Lake Eola.

 

Tourism is a large contributor to the overall economy of Orlando with theme parks and various conventions. Orlando is best known for the Walt Disney World Resort, Universal Orlando Resort, SeaWorld, Gatorland, and Wet ’n Wild Water Park. Most major tourist locations are located on International Drive, with the exception of Walt Disney World.

 

Other entertainment includes the music scene with the genres of hip-hop, metal, rock, and reggae and sports. Teams such as the Orlando Magic in the NBA, Orlando City USL Pro soccer team, the Orlando Predators Arena Football League, and the Orlando Solar Bears ECHL. Conferences and conventions are very common with educational areas such as University of Central Florida, which is the 2nd largest university in the United States.
