Joe Caracappa

Joe Caracappa is Executive Vice President, Process Engineering and Chief Information Officer. Joe joined C&S in May 2005 as Chief Information Officer. Under his leadership, the information technology department has played an integral role in several significant company initiatives. As CIO, Joe led the IT department effort to upgrade and modernize the C&S technology infrastructure, which included the implementation of a new state of the art Data Center. He has also led the IT department in creating and deploying buying and forecasting systems and processes as well as the implementation of the C&S enterprise data warehouse.

Previously, Joe had served in CIO and SVP roles at Ann Taylor and Footstar, Inc. He also spent nine years with Accenture, focused on information systems development and working with companies across a variety of industries, including the food industry. In both his operating and consulting roles, Joe has broad experience transforming the information technology and systems capabilities of the companies for which he has worked to better support their business needs.

Joe holds a B.S. in Operations Research from Columbia University.
