C&S Charity Golf Outing

When cancer strikes children, we are always amazed at how brave they are.  C&S has made a commitment to help researchers find a cure, to equip doctors and nurses with the tools they need to give young cancer patients the best possible medical care and to offer kids with cancer to have some fun.

Hosted for more than 20 years, our golf event raises funds for three wonderful organizations: Children’s Hospital at Dartmouth in Lebanon, NH; The Dana-Farber Cancer Institute/Jimmy Fund in Boston; and the Hole in the Wall Gang Camp for kids with cancer, in Ashford, CT. 

Disaster Response

The great tsunami of late 2004 and Hurricane Katrina in 2005 leveled cities, killed thousands of people and destroyed the homes and livelihoods of millions.  The C&S response to these tragedies was immediate, practical and generous.  Without hesitation, our company and employees contributed time, money and food to relief efforts.

On September 11, 2001, C&S was one of the first on the scene delivering bottled water and granola bars to emergency workers.

Our partnership with America’s Second Harvest helps people in times of disaster through Second Harvest’s collaboration with the American Red Cross, the Salvation Army and FEMA.
