C&S Departments

• The Procurement department is responsible for buying and managing inventory in our numerous warehouses to supply our many customers.  Procurement teams must strike a balance between having enough inventory to maintain excellent service levels for our customers and having a small enough inventory to avoid excessive carrying costs and expenses associated with too much inventory. 

• The Merchandising department is focused on generating gross profit through vendor relations and creative negotiations tactics.  At C&S, Merchandising teams may work with our independent customers as well as our chain store customers to maximize efficiencies in areas such as weekly ad buys and private label purchasing.

• The Finance department encompasses diverse functional areas including payroll, general and gross profit accounting and supply chain.    

• Warehouse Operations are the heart and soul of C&S.  Shipping, Receiving, Order Selection, and Quality Assurance are just a few of the teams that keep our warehouses going 24/7.

We also have opportunities within Human Resources, IT, Transportation, Customer Service, Chain Sales (i.e. account management and corporate initiatives).
