C&S Charities, Inc. was established as a New Hampshire not-for-profit corporation in 2010 as the coordinating entity for C&S Wholesale Grocers, Inc.’s “Tee Up for Kids” annual charity golf tournament. Although its application for tax-exempt status under the IRC § 501(c)(3) is pending, federal law permits you to deduct any contributions made while the application is under IRS review because approval is retroactive to the date of C&S Charities, Inc.’s date of incorporation. We shall send you a donation acknowledgement disclosing the value of any prizes, meals and/or entertainment provided to you in exchange for your contribution (known as quid pro quo) after conclusion of the event and upon IRS approval of tax-exempt status under the IRC § 501(c)(3), such notice shall be posted on this website.
