Honored by Griffin Report of Food Marketing

Congratulations to C&S Chairman and CEO Rick Cohen and his father Lester, Chairman Emeritus. Rick and Lester have been named to the Griffin Report of Food Marketing’s Food Industry Hall of Fame and were featured prominently in that publication’s September issue. They will be honored at a formal dinner on January 19, 2008.

The Food Industry Hall of Fame was established to recognize those select individuals who have provided leadership, fostered innovation, and dedicated themselves to excellence in the food industry. The Hall of Fame honors contributions to the entire food industry across all segments and selects individuals who clearly have the recognition and respect of industry peers for their contributions and commitment. Past Hall of Fame honorees include Barry Berman, Executive Vice-President of Stop & Shop; Danny Wegman, CEO of Wegman’s Supermarkets, and Steve Sheetz, Owner and Chairman of Sheetz, Inc.
